I tried to keep myself busy during early lockdown, learning new skills or maintaining 

other skills. I set myself a couple of projects, which were inspired by current events, things I saw online, or just things that popped into my head. I am a big climate and 

animal activist which inspires my personal work a lot. I made some animal themed signage after seeing a picture of a sign that read something along the lines of 

“Do not feed the animals, they may bite”. 

This then inspired a couple of handmade, low relief, paper cut-out pieces 

that are each about a specific issue regarding animal rights. I quite enjoy 

making handmade, physical pieces and plan to do more in my own time.

I've also done a few small illustrations. One for the Global Climate Strike 2020 

and the other I made after my cat went missing (we found him, thankfully). I feel quite strongly about cats, and any animals, going missing and/or getting hit by cars that are driving too fast as I have experienced both and am very aware of the lack of justice and care compared to humans being knocked down.
